Works for Orchestra

Winter Fantasy for Orchestra is an orchestral suite that consists of a series of winter images that reflect various moods of the winter season. The composition is one continuous movement that has six distinct sections that are united by an oboe motif that is heard in the first two measures. It is around 19 minutes long and written for standard orchestra with piano. This CD is a demonstration recording of an orchestra. It was written by Stevens as a final project of a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition degree by the University of Kentucky.
