Davidson Hall is the music building at Welch College. The music building contains: music faculty offices, music class rooms, choral rehearsal room, practice rooms, midi lab, piano lab, and students who are training and learning to use their God given talents and abilities. Davidson Hall was the original home of Welch College, formerly known as Free Will Baptist Bible College. Purchased in 1942 by the National Association of Free Will Baptists, it housed classrooms, dormitories, the school cafeteria, and a staff apartment for the first years the college was in existence. Davidson Hall is located on Richland Ave. Click here to see the map location of Free Will Baptist Bible College. |
The Ministry Teams are an exciting part of Free Will Baptist Bible College. Besides the College Choir, there are four other groups that now tour across the country. New Mercy and Rejoice are mixed vocal ensembles that perform a light mix of contemporary Christian music. The Cornerstone Gospel Quartet is a male quartet that sings Southern Gospel. These groups are by audition at the beginning of the fall semester. There are also opportunities to be involved in other music activities such as Choral Union which annually performs Christmas on Richland Avenue on the first Friday night in December.
